Hypertension and Potassium Supplement

Blood pressure also known as silent killer is defined as a force by which the heart pumps blood in the arteries. Because of blockage in the arteries the heart faces problem in pumping blood and it thus pumps blood with high pressure. Increase in intake of potassium supplements in diet can help in reducing high blood pressure within a very short time. Sufficient level of potassium can help in proper functioning of arteries carrying the blood and nerve function.
